Hi all,
I've built a multi-user (approx 150) data entry split db at work. It's been running fine for about 3 weeks but today I came accross 'could not update; currently locked' error.
Each user has a front end stored locally on their c drive & back end on a network drive.
The users only have access to add new records and not even see or be able to get to historic records.
I do have an autonumber field which increments upon each new record.
I've managed to fix this error for now by copying the BE and re-linking it to the front end but how can I prevent this happening again.
Many thanks in advance.
Chris
