Hi,

I have a table that has, amongst others, a list of order numbers. Each order number may be duplicated many times and I want to be able to use a function like countif, in excel, to update another field with the number of times that order nubmer occurs.

Does anyone know of a quick way of doing this?

Use Count(*) to get your value within your update query.

This is typically not something you would do in an OLTP database.
