I am brand new to Access. I can create what I think are good data bases but I can not output my data well. I need to count records. I am reproting how many times a an emergency rescue team reported to "TRT-Extrication", "Fire Call", "EMS Call" , ... These are all listed in a field called "Run Type" I can not get the report to display data the way I need it. help!

Use the GroupBy in your querys on field "Run Type" and also use the Count on field "Run Type"
