I would like to create a new database from an existing data base with the same fields but I don't want the data. Can anyone give me a step-by step instruction. I also want to duplicate the form as well.
I am currently using ACCESS 2000

Create your new database then go to File>Get External Data>Import and select you old db. Then on the Tables tab push the options button and select Import Table Definitions Only

Not sure what you mean by "Current"? If you open it and click on Help on the Toolbar > About Microsoft Access.
It will tell you what version you are using. This is very handy when asking questions.

Anyway, what you want is dead simple. Open a new database and Name it whatever you want. Then in the Table Tab, Right Click and select Import...
Find you current database the you want to take the structure from.
Select the tables that you wish to import and then click the Options>> Button.
This could be slightly different depending on what version of Access you are useing (see what I mean) I am refferencinig Access 2000.
When you click Options>>
You can select how you wish to import the objects. So you would want the structure but not the data.
Repeat this with all the objects that you want in your new database and your away laughing mate.

Hope this helps :)

Forms

How can I duplicate a form in an exisiting database and put in into my new data base. I sucessfuly duplicated my table without the data and want to do the same in the form menu.
Can anyone be of assistance.
If Lister is still in the chatt room, perhap he could help me.

The same way you got the tables. It is another tab on that import dialog box.

If you've got Access 2003............

If your've got Access 2003 all you have to do is right click on the table or form or query and "Copy" and of course then in the relevant Table, Form or Query tab right click in the white area and right click again and select paste. For tables it asks if you want "Data and Structre" or "Structure only". For Forms and query's it requests a new name. It is a cool feature.

Not sure if this is available in Access 2000?

Regards
Rob :)
