I think dbGuy asked the question he did was because what you're saying here is pretty much unclear. it lacks details. for instance, if you have a continuous form, and you put a button at the end of the field list, the button will appear numerous times on the screen when you're looking at the form. however, if you want a button that opens the report ""regno"" and have it only list specific info about any given record, this is exactly what you want to do. However, if that's not what you want, you gotta provide more details because the variable that will affect you accomplishing this are endless.
