Creating a Report in columns

I am trying to create a report that is viewed as a colum, and not down the page. I am not explaining it very well so if you look at this:

I want a product summary that looks like this:

PC Laptop Printer
Bristol 1 5 2
London 20 55 16

Grand Total 21 60 18

But at the moment it looks like this:
PC
Bristol
London

Total
Laptop
Bristol
London

Total

Printer
Bristol
London

Total

Do you see what i am after and do you know how i can acheive it?

One way would be to use a Cross-Tab Query.

Your location would be the Row Header

Your equipment (PC, Laptop, Printer) would be the Column Header

Your Qty (or Sum of Qty) would be your expresion.


Create the Query and then create a report based off of it.

i have just tried to create the crosstab query but, all the values come out as 1, and not the total number of equipment for the depot. Do you have any idea what i have done wrong?

Don't worry ignore that, i just needed to change it to sum i forgot. Thankyou for your help! Cheers.
