Why? --- Why not just export directly to excel?

see qryGrades.
see report rptGrades and you need to adjust and Abbreviate the Labels
so it will fit in A4 paper.

I hope i am not asking too much. Thanks for going extra mile. I would wish to have average for those subjects. Once again thank you.

i created qryAvgMarks (see in design view).
then i add this query to the crosstab query, qryGrades.
next, add the Average field to the report.
view your report in Layout view.
if you pan to the right, you will see dotted line at the right.
that is the Limit of A4 in landscape view. so you must
adjust the textboxes so it will not go beyond the dotted line.

This brings average of subjects scored by Students. I need average for subjects. When i click totals in home tap i am able to get. Now to transfer to report is a problem.

I meant when I run qryGrades and click totals in home tap it gives me average for subjects. Exactly what I needed. How will I transfer to reports. I am still new in ms access but I am learning alot in this forum.

Why is the column on the right a total rather than an average?
