criteria problem in form

I'm trying to set criteria for a report through a form - using this :

strCriteria = "[invoice_no]= " & Me![INVOICE_NO]

I'm getting a synthax error =

syntax error in query expression '([invoice_no]=".)'.

Thing need to tune the criteria somehow - can someone help pls?
