Cumulative monthly totals

Hi,

I keep a record of the hours worked on a variety of tasks (up to 12) and have a query which will tell me how many hours I do on each task on a monthly basis. What do I need to do to get these monthly figures as a cumulative total. i.e. April added to May, April and May added to June etc through to March.
 
Just out of interest , do you total monthly for all tasks or break it down into each task for each month

Hi,

It remains as broken into a monthly total for each task. I didn't memtion in my original post that I use Access 2002 and XP pro.
