Currency Format

I cannot get a certain field to appear as currency format. I use an expression to calculat this field in my query. I have tried to format this field as currency in both the query and report but it always appears as 0.####### instead of appearing as $0.##. Any ideas would be appreciated.

In design view, go to the properties for that field. Instead of choosing Currency for format choose Fixed and underneath put in 2 for two decimal places. I am not sure if it will keep the $ sign. If not, just put in a label with a $ sign in front of your field in the design view.
