Has anyone got a workbook that if you give the following information.

Loan amount
Interest rate
Duration of loan
Monthly payment
and whatever else would be needed.

That a table would be produced that would produce the following information on a month-by-month basis.

Total Amount Oustanding, Capital Paid, Interest Paid. etc It would also be very benificial if it was possible to change the parameters of what is entered ie the loan amount, the duration, the interest rate etc

In short if I looked at period 27months into the loan it would tell me what I have paid and how much is outstanding. I have looked through the financial section of the formulas where I got very confused as one result left me owing millions. It's not as straight forward as I thought.

i have an access database that shows payment schedules for loans in a report. how about that? I also have excel sheets for this stuff, but it is confusing as he** to look at....and i won't post it here for that reason. However, the database is attached if you want to produce a loan report...
