Database entry problem

Have created database with Access 2003 , every time I create a new person (new record), the database creates 2 new blank members (blank records), can anybody help.

Can upload the database (7MB) if anybody prepared to help debug the problem.

Hi mctaguma,

I don't think there is enough info to go on there. If you strip out all the data from the tables (in a copy db!) and delete the db items not relevant to your problem (tables, forms, queries etc) is it small enough to zip and post?

This might be the best way forward.

Dtabase help needed, can somone debug please?

Hi guys,

I have a database made with Access, have uploaded here: http://www.scoutingtimaru.org.nz/dbtest/Training.mdb (8.9MB)

When I create a new user, the programs creates two blank users.

Can anybody help debug the problem, would very appreciate help.

When you open the file and it asks for password, just click ok.

Click the record button, click the blue add record button and create a user and give them a section, then close.

Next time you go back into records, and view the drop down name list, you will find blank records.

I commented in the other thread. To add to my comments I would suggest you convert your db to the ac2000 format so more people can look and work with it. Other than making an MDE, I don't believe there is *any* advantage to the acXP format.
