database security workgroup

Hi , I secured the database . I splitted the database as Back end and Front End . I have Back end and its assosciated Workgroup File on the server. I have front end on the local desktop .


What i would like to request is that I need a shortcut for the Front end which should point to the Back end on the server and to its Workgroup file on the server. I should not have to change the target property of the shortcut whenever the Mapped drive changes (Lettering of the mapped drive changes)

Some thing it should look like

\\servername\direcroty\mdw file and \\server\directory\back end .mdb

Please let me know how to do that.

Your target is to point to the msaccess.exe file, the workgroup mdw file and the front end mdb file. The shared tables in the front end are to be linked to the tables in the back end. The user does not need to open the back end file.
