I have very small database on network where I work. The server is located in a different state in the US and four adjacent states have access to it.
When only one person is using the database it works a ok speed. But when two or more people use the database, the forms and reports take 30 secs to 3 mins to load.
What are some of the things I might look for to improve?
The database is not split and is about 4MB in size.

Are you already using a persistent connection?

Split the database right away and don't worry about any other ideas until you do.

The connection is generally solid but, slower then when I have it on my personal computer. For instance, on the network (with no one else in the DB) a report may take 5 secs to load. On my computer, 1 sec.
I will get this split and see how that improves the speed.

Oops, I thought it was already split. Sorry!
