My guess is that you will be able to get the data from the other app and that will be all. You might even have to export it from Dataease into another format (Excel?) before importing to Access. I have no idea what Access will be able to recognize (primary keys, relationships, ect.) so you might have to set these all up again. Relationships could be the real kicker if you have records in multiple tables related to each other and Access is unable to recognize the relationships upon import. You will then have to create all of the record relationships OR have a start and stop of the db's. In example, you create an Access db that is capable of tracking data in the same way that the Dataease db did but doesn't contain any of the records. The customer then uses both db's for a while, Dataease for existing records until they have lived out their usefull life and Access for all new records.
