Dear All
I am using the following date controrl in my forms:

Class:MSComCtl2.DTPicker.2
OLE CLass: DTPicker

Do any of you know of any short cuts to choose the date just by keyboard instead of pulling down the controrl and choosing the date by mouse-clicking.

Let's say I click and choose the control, and the 'control' is in Date part. I want to jump to month and type the month and the same for year. I tried different shortcuts, but nothing worked. Hitting tab will take you out of the controrl.

If you know of any shortcuts, pl let me know. Or if you know of a date control available from MS that is dropdown format and also can also be edited fully by keyboard, pl let me know.

Thanks
VC

One solution is to use a "spinner" ActiveX control. Another is to build a popup calendar(s) to store the date when a day is clicked. Months and years are selected via via combo boexs. Three month calendars, with the current month in the middle, give good results.

An ActiveX calendar is available in Access for this purpose. However, calendars are easily built and coded for special purpose applications.
