Date Question

Quick question. How can you set the value of a text box to the current date? So that you don't have to enter the date, it does it automatically when you open the form.

If you just want the date, use Me.txtDate = Date , if you want the time also use Now instead of Date.

1. Go to propertied of that text box
2. go to control source
3. paste this without the quote "=Now()"
4. use me.txtnow if you have to populate this in your database
5. me.txtnow
6. be sure text box properties under other name is txtnow
