Hi
I have a DB that we use over a network , early days yet so have left in MDB format so minor changes can easily be made as we test it. I have a log on screen that users login on and are taken to the correct form for their own department using a Macro.
Today a user on his first logon got thel error from macro stating the macro name could not be found. I noticed I had mis spelled the macro. Simple case of changing this in design mode. But no the database would not open at all with no errors. So I opened a back up of the DB repaired the spelling mistake and was able to import the table data from the corrupted DB. I also noticed while importing the tables that there was only two forms able to be imported . I have over 20 different forms so they must have been corrupted during this error
What worries me is the DB corrupting itself due to a simple error in the execution of a macro???
