Delete text box but not label

Hi,

while designing a form, I want to delete a whole bunch of text boxes, but I would like to keep their labels. how do I do this?

Make new labels

Select the labels,
Cut and paste them on the form
Now delete the textboxes....

Or you could just detach the labels

I followed Mailman's instructions and hey presto!...Thanks.

Not sure how you would detach the labels.

Anyway, problem is solved so thank you all for the help.
