Hi

not sure if this is the right section for this question...

i want to display the results of a union query in excel.

i want it to be automatically refreshed each time so there is no user involvement.

i have searched this forum and found other people with the same question and it has gone unanswered

any ideas?
thanks

do you want to do this from excel?? To what database??

I can imagine excel not beeing able to handle a Union, but you could make the union query in your database and query that query

i have found a solution i thought i would share

In excel 2007 I was able to add a new ODBC connection (not the default MS Access one) and select the union query.

Then under the "get external data" option select "existing connections" and select the connection you just created.
