displaying records "like labels"

I have a continuous form that displays records in read only format. However, although I cannot edit them I can still click on the record field and see the typing cursor blinking (as if I could write something in the field). How can I get rid of that cursor all together so the records are listed and look uneditable?

You can do that with the properties of the text box. Try setting the back color of the text box to the same as the form color and border style to none. Also, try the enabled property.

On each control that displays in the Subform set it's Locked property to Yes and it's Enabled property to No.
