I have a Table which contains various date and number fields. Two of the fields are 'Stamp Date' and 'Settlement Date' and are in a short date format 'dd/mm/yy'. I need to find the difference in no. of days for each record between the settlement date and the highest stamp date. I have tried to create a new field by using a DMAX function on the stamp date field which returns the highest stamp date alongside each record as required. However when I create a new field for the calulation i.e Difference: [Settlement Date]-[Latest Stamp Date] I get #Error in each record. Does this mean that my DMAX function field is not in a date format? How else could I achieve this aim ?
