do i need a sub report?

Hello and good day,

I just thought I was finished with this one but sure enough someone found out i had extra time and figured they could milk one last thing out of this contract. Anyone still in school feel like people just want to take advantage of you!? I sure do... Anyways the report I'm trying to build involves a combo box I want to type in the Product Code and have 3 other fields fill beside it Product Code, Product Description and Third Item Number I have a table that i made called lookup which contains all the products they have and their corresponding JDE Numbers which are the Product Code so no type of auto number would work for this it has to remain as the JD Edwards dumb assed numbers. so essentially the jde numbers are what's most known and used to look up products and customers use them too we want to be able to lookup products using them and have data/info about the products pull up when we input the jde number.

I'm extremely annoyed with ms access at the moment coming from mysql with php and html/css "lamp stack" this thing is so closed off it's like i have to take the longest way to get a solution every time. Not to mention we're using values that have been first stored on paper then stored in three different systems JDE, Excel, Access randomly depending on who decided to do this thing. I go in request software and get denied and am now being forced to use ms access because I'm sure as shit not teaching myself JDE-Oracle for 14 dollars an hour.

Ok your moaning, but not so clear about what you are after !

If you create a combo box that has 3 columns which show the Data you want you can set the combo to only show the first column of data then behind the combo in the after update event you can populate some textboxes with the other column values from the combo box.

me.textboxName.value=me.comboBoxName.Column(1)
me.textboxName.value=me.comboBoxName.column(2)

Try that out.
