DoCmd.TransferText import procedure (1 Viewer)

I am trying to import a VCF file as a text file into a database interactively.Once I have successfully done that I will store the input procedure and use it in a VBA module. The problem is when I use the External data import procedure it gives me the choice to select a text file. But then further on it gives me only the names of the text files in the input folder and this can not be changed. Help Please.
