double booking help

hey,
i am a beginner in Access just to let you know
I have in my form a combo box for all products which can be selected to be hired for a particular day, what i what to know is how can i once a date has been selected, how to make it that product is then removed from the combo box so it cannot be chosen therefore not double booked

please give detailed steps i dont know much thanks
