Hi,
I'm using Access 2000.
I have two fields in my data entry form that are side by side, one is a price including tax, the other is the price excluding tax.
The raw data that I get is the price including tax, so I enter it in. Currently I use a calculator to find the pre-tax price. (The tax level is 17.5%). Then I enter it in.
I want to be able to enter the price including tax, and then double click on the empty pre-tax field and it automatically calculate it.
I know the arithmetic to use, but not the coding to do so.
For example a Tool I am selling is £200 including tax, so I calculate pre-tax price by entering the following=
200 divided by 1.175 = 170.21.
Can anyone please give me some pointers? or recommend a good tutorial that can help me please?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks
Dean
