Hi
I'm trying to configure the prtDevMode to do duplex which I have got working in the MDB, but from what I've read so far (Link ) it appears you have to open the report in design view to get at these settings which I cannot do when the database is compiled into an MDE.
So microsofts work around is to secure the database and use an MDB instead. All's well so far, but when the report opens in design view its visible and screws up the maximised form behind it.
I know you can open reports in deisgn view (minimised) at runtime in acc 2002 etc. but not acc 97.
So the question is, is it possible to open a report in design view at runtime in a hidden state? or is there another way to configure duplex printing without having to open the report in design view.
The database is multi user. The users can select any of about 20 different printers on the network using a separate form.
Many thanks for any help on this.
Paul
