I am trying to create an audit report that filters by address. There are hundreds of records but I want to narrow the report to show all customers who are late in their payments of 30 days or more. I have that part figured out. There are multiple records from a single customer that I need to filter down to just one address per customer.

I'm not sure if I should do this in Query, SQL or reports.

I hope I explained it well enough. Thanks, Brian

You can do this several ways:
1) From query designer - right click in the area where the tables are shown and select Properties. Set Unique Values to Yes.
2) Click on the Totals button. All fields will default to Group By.
3) From the SQL window, insert the word DISTINCT after SELECT

1 & 3 are different ways of doing the same thing. Many people prefer GROUP BY to DISTINCT. There's supposedly a speed difference, but I've never seen it and I typically use DISTINCT.
