When I run the following query

Make Model Version
BMW 325 2.5 Coupe
BMW 325 3.0 Coupe

I would like to instruct the query to only return "325" once, so I can create a combo box from it

Does that make sense?

You can easily do that. You don't even need to create a query to base a combo box on it. You go go to the combo box on the form in design view, and edit the Row Source for the combo box to be a query (be sure the Row Source Type is set to Table/Query). In that query, view the query Property sheet (go to the View menu and choose Property Sheet. Make sure you're looking at the query property sheet - it should say "Query properties" in the blue title bar), go to the Unique Values property and choose Yes.
