Duplication Issue

I have two queries that I am trying to tie together. I have one that breaks down a parent shipment, and one that ties in the child shipment. They are two separate queries. When I set the query to pull the childs in for the parent, they duplicate. What could cause this issue.

What is the SQL for both queries? And what does the statement "When I set the query to pull the childs in for the parent..." mean? I'm not following what you are exactly doing there.
