Ive recently upgraded my Access 2002 database to become an ADP project using the upsizing wizard.
One off the problems I encountered is that I have an Access form which returns a datasheet dynaset using an Access query. The user can then edit any records on this datasheet or insert as per you would through the backend tables.
When i upsized this to ADP the queries became pass through queries which I have recently found out are read only, now the user has lost the ability too edit any records on the datasheet.
I have tried creating a linked table for these specific datasheets but Im not sure this is possible once the project has been converted too an ADP. If a linked table is possible can someone tell me the steps in defining one within an ADP project OR a better solution too my problem. How are editable datasheets dealt with in ADP upgrades?
Thanks
