Greetings, (Access 2010)
ON 9/10/13 I requested help with an embedded macro in a Microsoft sample database called the Student Database. In design view of the Student list form, I deleted the provided embedded macro on the ID field, and also the txtOpen field on this form so I could try to recreate this open/new feature from the Student list form which opens the Student detail form.
So far no success, but I want to keep trying. I believe I was able to recreate the embedded macro on the ID field, however, the txtOpen textbox does not appear on the Student list form from design view. Therefore, I do not get the open/new (blue text) previously available on the Student list form.
Any suggestions, maybe reference to a detailed article, a step by step approach? Thank you in advance.
