Hi all
just working on a mock up of a database for the organisation im working for. they havent agreed to let me build it just yet but im going to meet with the bosses next week and try to pitch it for them. Their old DB is garbage (alot of people were excited when i was hired to fix it) and im sure it wont be hard to convince em
Im just pondering what the interface should look like, thinking of having a few custom ribbons to help the user navigate and use the db.
If i do this im thinking it may be necessary to hide and unhide various ribbon tabs and items (or at least enable/disable them), mostly to prevent unauthorised users from doing things they shouldnt or to have some options only available/visible on the forms where they are relevant. Things like that
does anyone know if that is actually possible? at this point im not planning on working on that til this weekend but kinda want to find out if i can do it while im still in the planning stages
