Hi,

I've just built 2 separate databases (Access 97) in which several tables are linked. There is a main form for entering personal details and then there are two command buttons which then link to a GP details form and other info. Both of these linked forms show the ID no., surname, forename etc entered from the main form but then have sub forms for entering the new data. One of the databses works fine, but the other database has stopped working after entering 8 records. It now won't let me enter any more new records and gives the error message 'You May be at the end of a recordset'.

I've tried reading the help but it doesn't make much sense to me.

I'd appreciate any advice that might shed some light on what's wrong.

Thanks

Hi Maxine

Not too sure why you need to enter data via a subform.

If you link to Form2 from Form1 then you can enter data direct into Form2.
