Enter Parameter Value - Format

Hi,

I have a need to include a Date in the format of yy i.e. 06 in the Page Footer of a report. Simple you would think but for the life of me i just can't seem to get it?

If i have a text box with =Now() its fine, if i try to change it to Date() it asks for a Parameter Value for Date, if i try Format(Now(),"yy") it asks for a Parameter Value for Format and Date. If i don't enter any data and just click ok to both requests i get #Name? displayed.

Where am i going wrong? It may that i can't see the trees for the wood but i have had this working in the past, i have looked at the Access help files but no joy. Even using one of the examples in Access help doesn't work. The report has one date field which is called DateOfIssue so i don't believe it is a conflict there.

Its probably something really simple but any tips most welcome - this is beginning to bug me.

If =Date() throws up an error then you have a missing reference problem as far as the format goes just use the format property of the text box, set it to "YY"
