I have an ET-2720. there are 3 or 4 different scanning programs included in the software including one called Easy Photo Scan.
I've had it a couple months since the agency was paying for our home office toys. I really like it so far.

Is your printer connected to a network?

Use a USB cord or use a flash drive to save the image then plug it into a computer?

That is what I am trying doing. I use the USB cable to print docs from my computer. How ever I can't find how to scan a photo and save it to my computer over USB.

Mine's set up on my home network and wireless.

Check the epson tab on your start menu

no Epson tab.
Just tried the printer controls and hit scan and save to computer (jpeg) and it says communications error. Check the connection. I know the connection is fine since I have been printing docs all night.

Here is something else funny. While googling for instructions I came across somebody who said the ET-2750 was a disaster don't but it. It's the best printer I have ever had, and I am on my 7th printer. I have had it two years and not out of ink.

Still the original bottles?
Besides being free, the reason I bought it was the reviews that said the ink lasted a long time. The one thing i've always hated was buying ink which can get expensive. A few times it was cheaper to buy a new printer than it was to buy the cartridges. A new set of epson bottles run about $40 which isn't too bad and third party brands run about $20 for all 4 colors. I've printed about 150 pages or so and barely any drop in ink levels.

Be careful. I had an Epson printer and it 'used' to allow other cartridges. Then I had a software update for it and after that only genuine Epson cartridges were accepted. :(

Been there, done that. The difference here, I hope, Is that there are no cartidges, The printer has tanks that you fill with bottles.

Yes, the big attraction for me is no cartages. I can see my ink levels, I have had another Epson with cartages, and they would always run out in the middle of a job. Have you used the compatible successfully? Then, at $39.60 for the original why take a chance. Cheap enough.

Only had mine a couple months, plenty of original ink left. If I were replacing them constantly like with cartridges I'd go for the compatibles but $20 extra a year for name brand I can live with .
