Error Accessing File! What does this mean?

Access 2000

My DB is freaking out. No matter where I'm at if I try anything that has to do with code, I get an Access Error Message stating Error Assessing File. Network connection may have been broken. I've used the Link Manager to link everything back up. I've compacted and repaired but nothing is getting rid of this problem. Anyone have some idea's of what's going on and how to fix it?
