We have an MS Access .mde file on a network drive which is shared by 15 users. This Access Application is a front end to a SQL Server database.
Lately we have been having intermittent problems where users are getting the message "There was an error executing this command". When they close the database and open it again it appears fine again.
Sometimes it works fine for everyone for a few days but then some users could get the above message about 10 times in one day.
It is an MS Access 2000 application.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions about how we might tackle this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The intermittent nature of the problem is puzzling me and this application has been working fine for up to 6 months on the same servers without any issue.
