error for sort button using ACCESS

I created a button for a form using a built-in macro function for sorting records,
and I am returned with the following error:
THE COMMAND OR ACTION 'SortAScending' ISN'T AVAILABLE NOW.

Is there any work-a-round code to fix?

Probably because the focus is on the cmdbutton, and logicaly, you cant sort one cmdbutton.

You could try Screen.PreviousControl.SetFocus, then the sort command, or try something like this
