ERROR Msgbox question

hey guys,
I set up a required field in the table properties with a Validation rule and validation text,

When the field is skipped it yields an ugly error and will not let you pass the field. Where and what can I code to customize that error received?

Use the "forms" BeforeUpdate event to check your specific fields if they are Null or an empty string and then Cancel the event. Search the forums for there are thousands of threads related to your question.
