Is there a way of changing the format of the data being exported from access to excel?? Within access its being displayed properly as a time and when it goes into excel it changes the layout to date, or a date to a number... if i then manually format in excel it goes back to the format i want but as im exporting a query leaving it up to the user as to which fields they export id rather assign a format before it got to the excel file. Or is there a way of calling an open excel file from VB without using the name of the file? or its location??
