Exporting Access Query to MS Excel

I need to the ability to export data from an Access query into a MS Excel spreadsheet template. I need certain fields in Access to be exported and placed in certain cells in MS Excel. Does anyone have any input on where to start looking for documentation on this procedure??

Not too sure about the certain cells bit - never done that, but I have set up pivot tables in Excel and they then run the queries in Access if they are refreshed.
