Exporting combo boxes to excel

Hi Exprort Experts!

I have a subform with a combo box selection field among other fields. Can I export the data showing on the subform together with the drop down combo box data for each record and all its choices so that it appears as the same combo box on the worksheet. The user will then update combo box selections as required and the results would be imported back into access in the correct boxes for inclusion in a report, is that easily achievable for a moderate access user?

Well I think I could do it, or at least it would be a challenge I was up for.

I haven't searched the internet for any code, I suspect even if someone has done it the code would be difficult to find. Assuming I couldn't find any useful examples and I had to do it from scratch, I reckon t would take me a week and if you asked me to quote a price I would quote 2 weeks, and expect a high probability of an overrun of 1 or 2 weeks.

the question i have to ask (being asked for function like this all the time) is why does the information have to be exported? The users should have access to the database!!
If I have this correct - the drop down choices need to be editable - create a form to add these
