Hi,
I have a data entry form in access used to create a suitable format for copying into an external system.
Currently, i have a button which publishes the report in a new wordpad file, which at the moment,i cut and paste manually into the external system.
I was wondering if it was possible to get this report exported to the clipboard directly without the need for the wordpad step.
e.g.

Form:
Name: Joe bloggs
Address: 1 street
DOB: 22/02/08

(BUTTON) <= Publishes report to Notepad.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, im new to all this!
Any help would be hugely apreciated.

thanks,

Jon

thanks for the quick reply gizmo, i dont think that method will work in my case however as i am looking for the complete formatted report to be published to the clipboard :(

thanks rural guy, but that one only copies individual fields in a form. Anyone know of anyway to publish the report into the clipboard? in the same way that the report can be published into a .txt. doc?

thanks again.

Any ideas guys?!

I use the following code on the PUBLISH BUTTON at the mo.

DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, "REPORT NAME", acFormatTXT, "Doc1.txt", True 'open in Notepad

I then cut n paste the text from notepad to the clipboard. ANyway of publishing direct to the clipboard?
