Exporting to Excel

When exporting a query to Excel using the built in Wizard it removes the underlying SQL, why would this occur it is a select query?

What exactly do you mean by "removes the underlying SQL"?

The questions you should be asking yourself are:

1. Does Excel use queries?
2. Shouldn't it only be data that (and perhaps some layout) that gets exported?
