Exporting to Rich Text Format

I have a Report that gets exported into Rich Text Format, and it is cutting off one of the memo fields at about 490 characters. I have tried several of the other export formats, and they are cutting off the memo also. The report in Access looks fine, it only gets cut off after it is exported. Can Grow is set to yes, Can Shrink is set to no.

I had this problem once also and it turned out to be the text boxes in the report layout "touching" each other. I separated the boxes by a hair and it seemed to work.

This is actually a problem in Access 97 & 2000. Microsoft have a viewer, called Snapshot viewer, available on their website or on your CD if it is after version SR2. This viewer leaves the layout exactly as it is in the report. The viewer is shareware and requires no licence, so anyone can install it, then view and print the reports, which would have a .snp extension.

this problem of gave me a bit of a headache also. The microsoft knowledge base has more detailed info if you require it!
