Failed to open Connection - Crystal Reports

Hi - I am hopiing somebody will be able to help

I get the error message when opening reports on Crystal reports
Failed to open the connection
Failed to open the connection
C:\Users\prosdom\AppDate\Local\5\CCBC165
swyddogaethau roles

That is an database error. Hard to say. What kind of DB connect is it (Excel, Access, ODBC, etc.)?

Then the first thing to check is the ODBC connection. Make sure it is pointing at the right place with the right credentials with the right name for the ODBC. If you have another tool (TOAD, SQL Management Studio, etc.), see if you can access the database by that route.
