Well, I am sure my dbase design is to blame for this.. but just cannot see how to solve this..
I have a main table with pupilID as the primary key..
then I have two other tables with their own unique ID as the primary key.. the tables are linked by pupilid..
I am created a multi-table query... this work perfectly with two tables.. but when I add a third the resulting data cannot be changed.. and seems locked..
I dont have any join query restrictions...
am sure I am going wrong on a very basic issue..
any pointers would be great..
many thanks
john.
