Hi All,
I have set up a simple databse to monitor stock movement, but there are some filds I would like to fill with data from the previous record viz.:
Cost, Balance, Tax etc...............Idealy I would like to make the balance from the previous record be the default opening balance on the new record.
I see where it can be done using Access 2000. The problem is that my machine is connected on a Local Area Network and because of the cost involved I will not be able to upgrade all machines in the near future. I am curently using Microsoft Access 97.
Also I would love to use a code or a macro. The other problem is that I practically know no VB. Anybody trying to help me will have to write the code in a manner that I can copy & paste & how and where to go about it. (I am arranging to get a copurse in VB shortly)........Thanks.......Evon
