Filter by Selection on Main Form produces Empty or Blank subform

I’m using Access 2007
I’m attempting to apply a filter just one Control on the Main form, such as Date
I have a Main Form with 2 subforms.
Everything works fine until I try to use Filter by Selection.
After filtering the Main has the correct information and has the correct number of records in the Navigation at the bottom of the Form, but Subform2 is Blank or Empty.

SubForm1 are Names and Addresses
SubForm2 are Details of Main Form.
When I use Accesses Ribbon, Filter by Selection, Subform 1 gets the correct information, but Subform2 is Blank or Empty.
When I use Accesses Ribbon, Filter by Form both subforms work correctly.

Subform1 has:
Link Master Field is a single ID
Link Child Field is also just one ID
Filter ON Empty Master is Yes
Enabled is Yes
Locked No

Subform2 has:
Link Master Field is a single ID (obviously a different ID then subform1)
Link Child Field is also just one ID (obviously a different ID then subform1)
Filter ON Empty Master is Yes
Enabled is Yes
Locked No

If anyone has an idea on why this is happens, I would greatly appreciate it.
